Snoop Dogg @ Rogers Place - February 20th 2019

Earlier this week I had the great pleasure of photographing hip hop legend Snoop Dogg for 104.9 Virgin Radio Edmonton on his Puff Puff Pass tour at Rogers Place. Sporting an Oilers jersey it felt right at home for the performance at the home of the Edmonton Oilers. His opening acts Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Warren G, Kurupt, and Afroman helped get the sold out crowd pumped for him to come on stage. This was the first I have had such a well known hip hop/ rap artist in front of my camera and have to honestly say it gave me a little bit of a new found liking for the music. Drum machines I will forever hate, but its really neat to see someone be able to keep a beat without a bunch of other musical instruments on stage with them. As well with then name of a tour like Puff Puff Pass, its pretty neat to see people keep a beat like that when they are properly as high as a kite.
